Dr. Sergio Antonio Marques de Lima

He holds a degree in Chemistry from the Araraquara Chemistry Institute of the Universidade Estadual Paulista-Unesp (1999) and a PhD in Chemistry from the same university (2005). He was an associate researcher at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro - PUC-Rio - in the Department of Physics (2006-2008), Visitor Scholar at the University of Southern California - USC - in the Department of Chemistry (2008-2009) and Research Fellow at University of Birmingham, UK (2012). He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Presidente Prudente campus of Unesp. He has experience in the area of ​​Inorganic and Materials Chemistry, with an emphasis on Luminescent Materials, in the area of ​​Coordination Chemistry and in the area of ​​Condensed Matter Physics, working mainly on the following topics: photo- and electro-luminescence, thin films, carbon oxide zinc, luminescent materials, lanthanide spectroscopy, rare earths, TFELD and OLED type electroluminescent devices, ligand synthesis, def block complexes, hybrid materials.
