Biography Soshu Kirihara received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in materials science and engineering form Ibaraki University, Ibaraki, Japan, in 1996 and 1999, respectively.,Since 1999, he has been with the Joining and Research Institute, Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, initially as a Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, later as a Research Associate of Osaka University, and, since 2006, as an Associate Professor. He has authored or coauthored approximately 50 publications in scientific journals. His current research interests include EM wave properties of dielectric ceramics with 3-D structures fabricated by using computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) process.,Dr. Kirihara was a recipient of the 2003 Japan Society of Powder and Powder Metallurgy (JSPM) Award for Innovative
